Be careful jangan maen porting dan timing engine. Gainingnya dikit banget dibanding resiko engine jadi ngaco. Di dunia ini cuma sedikit sekali (kurang dari 10) orang yg bisa bener2 mods engine 2 stroke untuk r/c.

sebenernya untuk modifikasi jenis mesin 2 tak RC tidaklah rumit seperti mesin sepeda motor 2 tak. untuk pengecekan timing kita bisa bikin alat sendiri. kalau kita beli busur derajat di toko buku yg bentuknya setengah lingkaran, maka kita buat satu lingkaran penuh dari 00sampai 3600 bermodalkan pelat berdiameter 15 cm lalu kita kasih ke tukang sablon deh.
sebenernya modifikator di Indonesia ini banyak hanya kalah peralatan saja. hanya dengan modal kreatifitas tanpa alat canggihpun kita bisa.
sayangnya kreatifitas kita kepentok modal untuk bersaing.

Boss saya pengen tau prinsip dasar timing dongg.... kalau portin agak kebayang ...soalnya dulu jama superten (mesin std nya loyo pisannn.....)  suka porting2an hasilnya kenceng dan tidak bisa stationerr.. :D :D :D :D

kita juga harus perhatikan pada proses porting disini, apabila porting terlalu besar akibatnya mesin akan mati-mati bahkan loyo dan sulit untuk mendapatkan stationer yang baik oleh sebab itu timing harus digeser agar stationer menjadi baik. ataupun kita dapat juga menambahkan beban pada fly wheel ataupun mengurangi bobotnya.
mudahnya prinsip timing bisa diubah melalui sudut crank shaft saja, saat kapan dia buka dan kapan dia nutup. prinsipnya kurang lebih seperti katup buluh atau reed valve kalo pada transportation engine.
untuk penggeseran timing ini kita perlu feeling pada saat kita memainkan throtle, apakah harus + atau - bahkan bukaan harus + dan saat tutup harus - atau kebalokannya.
contohnya pada mesin RB C6 kalo mau kena bawah, tengah dan atas : buka +2 dan tutup -6. alatnya cuma 2 aja piringan busur dan tuner turbo grinding.
Jadi tidak usah keluar ekstra harga untuk belanja mesin modif yang harganya cukup mahal.
